Salt Lake Area Family Justice Center (SLAFJC), a collaboration of 14 community partners, provides critical services in one, safe location with access to free and confidential services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and elder abuse.
From the moment you walk into the SLAFJC, you will be greeted by friendly and caring staff who will assist you in obtaining help, and then a guide will introduce you to available resources and services.
Emergency Shelter: If you and your children are in danger and need emergency shelter, guides at the SLFJC will work with you to access emergency shelter at the YWCA or help identify and access other shelters throughout the Salt Lake Valley to help keep you and your family safe.
Immigration Assistance: If you are a victim of violence you may qualify for a U-VISA or VAWA.
Crisis Intervention: During your first visit to the SLAFJC, a Guide will help determine what services you need.
The Guide will take the appropriate next steps including making referrals to SLAFJC partners.
